Canada Trip 2024 – Full Movie!
Why was the Canada Trip created?
The Canada Trip was created as a means of connecting students of HKIS with a truly international experience. Life in the classroom is always kept exciting and progressive but only a certain amount of inspiration can be created and strengthened within our doors here in Bunkyo, Tokyo. We utilize our Japan off-site locations often such as HK Chiba Beach, but a visit to Canada, where everyone speaks English while at the same time participating in daily activities and friendship making exercises – truly connects HK, internationally – hence our name, Hello Kids International School 🙂

What types of activities are included in the trip?
As you can see on this page (from a few video examples taken from our 2023 trip), each day was filled with exciting new experiences and locations, such as:
- canoeing
- hiking
- fishing
- speed boat riding
- ferry boat rides with tours
- petting goats and other animals (private tour)
- shopping for souvenirs and desired items
- picnics at the beach
- disc golf
- sailboat rides (private tour)
Our Canada Trips include a lot of the same yearly activities as well as new ones! Each year, depending on the group-chemistry, I alter and add new venues to ensure every student is learning while also enjoying their time.

What does the fee include?
The fee for the Canada Trip includes everything, from the airline, to food, insurance, transportation, accommodation details as well as all daily regular and bonus activity locations. Since Covid, the price of especially food, transportation (including gas) and summer-locations has increased, forcing us to reflect this in the fee of 590,000yen plus tax. Parents are also required to notarize a document used for Canada Immigration.
